​Layman Lessons and Welcome Baptist Church have operated Rescue Missions, Men’s and Women’s residential training centers, found housing and shelter for the homeless as well as assisting the working poor to buy their own homes, from our work in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, while also sending homeless with addictions to faith based recovery programs from coast to coast…providing a non-refundable transportation ticket to get them where they needed to be.

The numbers we have helped are literally in the tens of thousands since 2000, mostly between 2001 and 2012.  Today we triage those needing shelter to faith-based shelter programs across the nation, according to their individual circumstances.
